MOTORSPORT ACADEMY OPENED SEASON WITH RALLY BRASOV
Today 23 march, just at 20:00, the 53rd Rally Brasov 2018 was launched. The rally in Romania is the first round of the same car rally championship HYUNDAI RACING TROPHY. This year, pilots and crews from five European countries - Bulgaria, Sweden, Poland, Georgia and Italy - participate in the race. Unlike last year's rally Brasov, which was held at the same time of the year, this year the participants were surprised by the extremely difficult winter environment despite the start of the spring. The HYUNDAI RACING TROPHY Championship is very interesting and unpredictable with the participation of the crews: Dennis Stanchovski - Mladen Karchev from Bulgaria, Adam Westlund - Jim Hjerpe from Sweden, Sebastian Teter - Bozydar Grzywaczewski from Poland, Alexander Lomadze - Mevudi Melladze from Georgia and Claudio Bachella - Masina Palitta from Italy. All of them will compete in the season with equally prepared rally cars HYUNDAI i20 Coupe R. There will be a total of 142 racing kilometers divided into two rally days. On the first day (Saturday March 24), pilots will cross twice at the special stages of Brasov and Paraul Rece, and on Saturday night a super special stage is planned in the center of Brasov. On Sunday, the rally day is draving in both directions at the longest special stage of Babarunca and Cheia with a length of 27.50 km. The starting list for the Rally Brasov is quite impressive, with 93 crew submitting their entry form. The cars in the R5 category are eight, and this promises to the audience a very interesting and spectacular race combined with the variable weather situation.
